' AUTUMN LEAVES '

... are no less
beautiful
when falling
from the trees --

l o v e l i n e s s
you can hold
in your hand,

l o v e l i n e s s
even in
their dying ...

So true my friend, fall is my favorite time of the year! Love the colors of the mountains when the leaves are changing...looks like a beautiful patchwork quilt is spread across the mountains! I'll have to take some pictures to post! Enjoyed this much my friend!
Blessings,
Joyce B.

Yes I often feel a strange sense of melancholly betweent the time the leaves fall and the first snow comes...like we are waiting for the funeral of nature.

To every thing there is a season,
they blend beautifully into one another as these words do.

(now where did put that darned leaf blower?)

A lovely write and the descriptins are so true. Those big maple leaves in the picture really symbolize autumn.

I don' think spring can compete with the loveliness of summer giving way to autumn . . . Very well composed and thought out . . .

Wonderful cameo couched in tender language and heart-melting sentiments. Yes, those leaves that have shaded our souls from the full heat of summer come down to yield a beneficent kiss upon our bodies as they pass by to then bless the earth. Like the gorgeous mother-of-pearl shells that gather on my beaches, I have collections, too, of newly fallen leaves... enough to fill both hands! :)) Bless you, Kate xx
