Amen to THAT, Karla! There is something in us (some call it empathy - some call it God) which makes us stand tall together when disaster strikes - and we have long memories. Write on!
How true, Karla...we must always remember and we must remember that no one leaves this place without impacting the rest of us. This poem smacks of reality and reminds of the importantence of honoring the lives, loss of lives and sorrows of others.

Still moving boxes and getting settled here in Florida. While Unpacking some more today, I came upon a small metal souvenier of the Twin Towers my daughter brought back from New York. Memories seem to come like a chorus of angels that were born that day.
