I remember watching - stunned - the planes - blooming explosions - raining people - the towers going down - like some awful apocalyptic film - pre-death recorded spousal phone conversations - replaying - replaying - and then those "in ya face" New York people all pulling together to clean up the mess - and cars everywhere sporting American flags in the first real show of patriotism since WWII. Such tremendous impact. Great tribute, Karla!
