Funny, but a sad commentary in that sometimes our lives revolve around the weatherman's forecast.
Lately, I've stopped regularily watching the news and weather reports -- I like my wonderful new found freedom. And, the weather, well it's gonna do what it's gonna do (like your Daddy said). And fortunately we don't worry about tornados, hurricanes or flooding in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Lovely words and awesome photograph to accompany. Oooo I just love the look of all types of clouds don't you~never know what to expect nowadays. However, you always seem to capture it so well Karla.

such a good write--if we can't talk and worry about the weather what will we use as an ice breaker for conversation--my dad always starts a phone conversation by asking about the weather-if we can't talk about anything else we always have that!

Karla, an interesting picture captured here! No, we never know what the weather holds in store for us...all we can do is pray during these difficult times. Texas has taken a beating this year and I'll bet all of you are getting tire of the weather blahs.
My brother sent me some pictures of Neptune Beach in Florida. They were hammered and flooded with a storm that refused to budge for several days. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken in order to reveal those things that cannot be shaken. Stand Strong! A wake-up call write!

Yes the importance of a good weather forcaster is truly important in this day and age when so much activity is planned outside and in advance. As a retiree though I tend to get my weather report from looking out the window first thing in the morning.
Look at the sci fi movies and the ones of legends and fairies and wizards...always looking into a crystal ball watching for predictions. This reminds me so much of today's weather wizards. It's takes a bit of magic to get it right.
