... Still afraid, but getting better ...

Poem Artwork

StormFear
may be blessing
in disguise:  I never
thought of it in those exact words
before.

A curse:
that's what I thought.
No one should live like this.
Feeling all alone in the world.
Crazy ...

But that
was prior to
becoming StormSpinner:
still afraid, but getting better.
Thank God.

If Franklin had that fear we will never have fly a kite and hold a metallic umbrella when the lightning came.
Crispy and well done.

Lady K,

A sormspinner who fears her own storms? Methinks you birth ideas that have a life of their own. Like children, they strive to surpass and leave their own mark. Such is the way with your words.

Be fearless and see the danger then act upon that urge to be safer in your persuit. You'll make it. You're a survivor.

Hi Karla -good form for this idea, how they expand coming back to two syllables - quite like fear/storms/depression - and knowing those two syllables are there in the future somewhere, gets one through somehow...fear, like in the darkest or most terrifying depressions, a 4 syllable mantra 'this too/shall pass' is where some faith grows, and grows some ability to use fear, or doubt, well - real good poetry Karla, The StormSpinner - a storm well and truly Spun! :o)Nicky xx

I am so glad you are getting better, but being afraid of what Mother Nature throws at us is really a good thing. It prompts you to get out of the way. I, for one, would not want you blown away. Great Write Karla! Love you,

So true -- blessings come in many disguises. It's in getting through the storm that we can truly understand His blessing. Never giving-up is critical in ones life.

I think everyone struggles with their own special (subjective) fears dear Karla. The kinds of storms that are proliferating on this planet would bring out the worst fears in anyone. Your write here is special and reflects a woman that knows how to use her feelings to bless others. Really well done! And I second dear Karen below!
Blessings ...

Karla, your poem sounds like you've acquired respect for the inevitable storms as opposed to intense fear. Storms can instill many emotions and the one my sister just had a few days ago is thankful relief when a tornado came within two miles of her and ripped apart homes and businesses.

As a stormspinner, you are in a better position to understand about storms: theis benefits and disadvatages. They are a blessing in disguise as you put it.

Thank you Karla. Give a hug to your twin sister, Karen, for me.
