Heaven's Hero Corps taking only the best,
Men and women who passed the ultimate test,

All those who gave their lives as a sacrifice,
Men and women who paid the ultimate price.

Heaven's Hero Corps includes the police force,
Firefighters, and the EMS of course.

Those brave souls who thought nothing of the danger,
Who gave their lives saving loved ones and strangers.

Heaven's Hero Corps honors all the heroes,
That earned their title working at Ground Zero,

Heaven's Hero Corps now watch us from the skies,
They are the guardian angels in our lives.

Lovingly dedicated to those men
and women of the FDNY and
NYPD who gave their lives doing
what they loved to do...their job.

Also dedicated to those men and
women who continue to serve as
our police force, firefighters, and
EMS personnel, who continue to
inspire us with their dedication
and courage in the face of fear.

God bless their family members,
friends, and co-workers of those
that have perished in the line of
duty...we will never forget their
sacrifice and will always remember.

When I wrote this poem, I inadver-
tantly omitted remembering those
innocent victims who died in the
attacks on our Nation. This poem
is dedicated to them as well.
