EMERGENCY PRAYER REGUEST: Daddy at doctor's - having trouble breathing - keep him in prayer :(

UPDATE: 2:56 p.m., CDT - Daddy home, he's fine. Was wheezing! X-rays, tests done, apparently nothing. THANK YOU, GOD, for answered prayer!!! Whoo-hooooo! LOL

White on black, a curtain
of hail against the dark of
cloud.  The worst, over; all
that remains is a little wind
and rain; the sun is coming
out:  beauty, after the storms.

(c) 2008, Karla Dorman (4/1)

The sun did come out beautifully, as did the reports on your Dad. Our weather 'round here is not condusive of easy breathing...keep him cool, but out of the wind. Prayers for you all, friend Karla!

Karla,

I am glad your Father is Home & Well & Better. Pneumonia is prevalent here in my neck of the woods this season. I am glad he had an x-ray. I would be concerned about the uncertain diagnosis. Pnemonia especially. I hope he goes for another x-ray or cat scan of his lungs. Not to worry you-just to empower you.

I do have a prayer I would like to share with you. I learned this from my aunt from the Pentecostalism Churches when I was about 9 or 10?. I do not have religion persay... as I do immense spirituality, however if I did claim religion it would be the Pentecostals. Change the Prayer any way to your liking, in silence, in voice, in song, or on paper it all is the same & faith is heard. Remembering Faith of the Lord Is Different Than Our Needs & Our Wants, and so is time for the spirit.

(I will say it as an extended prayer from me for your Father thou he is home. No Prayer is lost nor unheard)

"Dearest Lord Jesus, In Your Name I pray for Karla's Father. He needs a concise diagnosis of his infliction from the work of the enemy. I wish to cast my band of protective angels around him in his time of need to aide him & guide him & keep him & protect him in the safety of your love with the gift of healing. Cast my band of angels to Karla Lord To Give Her Strength in her Time Of Worry To Keep her Whole Lord. Keeping her safe from the the work of the enemy also. In The Name Of Jesus My Band Of Angels Are Now Commanded Upon Karla & Her Father for as long as they need them keep them in our circle Lord Jesus My Heavenly Father. In Jesus Name Amen."

Now you have been added to my circle "Sister" :)

The harsh contradictions of nature's personality are stunning. From warm sunny days to violent pyrotechnic displays. Each mood capable of inflicting drastic changes to our feeling of security. From serenity to abject fear. A powerful force in our lives. You always manage to capture her mood so eloquently. Thanks, Jon Michael Willey

You keep an eye on your dad. Trouble breathing never has "nothing" for a cause. Ask me sometime about my faith in ER test procedures.

Love this pretty little poem. It is a work of art when the sun comes back after a storm. Yes! Like your dad coming home ...

With all the Wx Jx's I made as a kid (logbooks) I never or not often thought of putting the day in poems weatherwise. Of course you do other things but a pile of these would make a fine weather journal for the year. You're in touch (with Her beauty...)
-glad your Dad's time is not yet...well wishes, michael

You have a great knack for writing about storms...during a storm all I want to do is hide. Glad your father is doing well.
