that's something you can do without!

repellant you put everywhere,
you've slathered it from toes to hair!

a nasty sound you hate to hear;
you've really come to hate that noise,
it is a sound that just annoys!

another day inside, you fear;
once we could run and play outside,
not any more...we have to hide!

one gets inside!! don't say "oh, dear!"
just *kill* that nasty specimen,
don't wanna hear that "whiiiiiiine" again!!!!

Two cases of West Nile virus have been confirmed in north central Texas so far. It's rather scary, but as long as we take precautions, and DON'T PANIC, we should be all right. Some of the things we can do include--

~~try to stay indoors when they are they are most active (early mornings and during the evening)

~~wear long sleeved shirts and pants (hard to do in the summertime!)

~~wear repellant; those with DEET are especially effective; apply it often.

~~remove anything that can hold standing water from your yard...mosquitoes *LOVE* stagnant water.
