the rain is falling... i'm thankful for it... it's been dry lately... no rain for awhile... we had a wet spring... early summer, too... was above normal... but then it just...stopped... the rains had ended... no rainfall for days... green grass browning... grasshoppers about... nothing really new... typical weather... typical summer... typical texas... heat, humidity... and ozone alerts... so tired of this... we needed relief... and today, rain fell... not just a little... a whole lot of rain... boy, we needed it... and it's still raining... almost two hours... a good, soaking rain... will do us all good... i thank God for rain!!!! (thank You, God!!) :) --------------------------------------------------------------------------
we really needed rain...and i'm certainly enjoying the coooler temps along with it (even if it's only temporary!). :)
