that i don't know my job
could do this in my sleep
(and i probably do!) don't
tell me how to do it cause
i've been here longer than
you i've seen 'em come and
i've seen 'em go get one
trained just right and they
up and leave meanwhile
here i am another year has
gone by and i'm still workin'
here for what? the low pay
ain't an incentive but it pays
the bills the aggrevation??
must be 'cause every year
i ask myself, "why do you put
yourself through this misery?
if you don't like this job, quit!"
i'd sure like to, but the fact of
the matter is it ain't that
simple i have to work, can't
live on less than two hundred
dollars a month in disability
barely existing on what i'm
making now!! you say you
want us to care that's fine
you want us to be a team and
work together that's also fine
but it works both ways, mister
you also must care and treat
us with respect!!! you want
respect? ya gotta give it first!!
give us a pat on the back once
in a while, a "good job!" do ya
