Sorry for what's happening, but I have not really sit down to look at the U.S. health care changes yet. I hope it's all for the better in the long run.
In Canada, our employers pay into the health care for us and so we don;t pay anything when we go to the hospital. Also, when one is unemployed, the government pays for the person's health care.
A country has to depend upon its citizen to grow, and if the people aren't healthy, how in the world can the country be healthy and grow strong? I hope something good will be reconstructed in the U.S. health care for its people to make a stronger country, and not the other way around.
Now, shouldn't someone tell me why Insurance companies are holy cows that can deny health coverage to people suffering of asthma and are free from discrimination prosecution? and someone tell me why any hospital ER procedure worth a couple hundred dollars becomes 14.357.49 dollars?
The rich are getting richer...and you are letting them to get so.
I am not sure what exactly this reform health bill offers or takes away but the polls I hope will show full displeasure at your next election...in the meantime...immigration to Canada is still open.

The unbelievable happened when America elected a no nothing, haven't ever done anything president that had one thing in mind: to change our country into what he believes we should be, a third rate, third world country. God help us indeed.
This situation is getting out of hand, I am so fed up myself, this so called health care plan has prevented me from getting the medications that I need to help me just function on a normal level, but we are living out what we as Christians have been hearing about for many generations, the signs of the times...I am praying for you and Karean and everyone else
