What I've been going through. Been holding this in for far too long. Go ahead, tell me to stop complaining. Trade places with me, PLEASE.

God may do the impossible, but
asking fallible me to do it is not:
I can't.  Having no doctor to write
an excuse on why I can't work is
the sticking point.  No insurance

--- no doctor will even  s e e  me.
Find a job in my situation:  over 50.
No transportation.  Little experience.
Disabled.  NO ONE WANTS ME. So
--- cut my food stamps off.  (Like I

can afford to eat after bills.)  Nearly
on the streets as it is now.  Guess
you want me to starve, is that it?
Might be able to honor that request.
I needed to lose weight, ANYWAY.

KARLA ...

I DON'T UNDERSTAND - IF YOU ARE A DISABLED VETERAN, WHY AREN'T YOU ENTITLED TO SEE A VA DOCTOR?

WHAT ABOUT STATE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE? MEDICAID?

HAVE YOU WRITTEN DIRECTLY TO YOUR SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES?

WISH I KNEW WHAT TO RECOMMEND? HUGS ... TOM.

Karla, I really do not know what to say my dear friend. Our current financial situation in America is perilous from the most optimistic perspective. Medical insurance costs are out of sight and those depending on Social Security have received no increases for two years. Many are desperate with no where to turn. My aged mother is in much the same situation. A 95 she never expected to out live her financial resources, but it has happened. I wish I had a silver bullet that would right all of those deplorable scenarios. Do not give up your faith my dear friend. I bid you love and peace. Jon Michael

I'm in the same boat almost. I have what they call "food insecurity" or doing without eating sometimes. I'm too upset and hot to eat anyway so yeah the economy is doing me a favor. Ha. I'm in my 50's and disabled and no raise for 3 years, inflation out of control and the GOP wants to give more tax cuts to the rich and oil companies and fade out medicare. Wonderful. I sure didn't vote for that. I guess I wanted to be on a diet. Liz
