Except dead:  shot multiple times

in front of your two year old son.
Love shouldn't take a daughter
away from her mother:  murdered

in cold blood.  So what does
Daddy do?  Takes the chicken's
way out:  pills.  Grabs his boy,

gets into the truck, wrecks it when
he passes out behind the wheel
---- a thousand wonders that little

one wasn't hurt.  Daddy lingers in
a coma, until this past Monday ---
What does the baby remember???

His grandparents are now raising
him as their own.  They've forgiven
the Daddy --- better people than I.

Don't understand why you went
back to him, believed his lies ---
and late at night, a baby screams.
