God, shield me with Your Wings As I begin this day Help me to remember The Blessings sent my way I woke up this morning You let me see Your Light You helped protect me through The darkness of the night Sweet birdsong fills the air Sweet music to my ears I'm not in too much pain Another Blessing here I thank You for my twin And my Author's Den friends Thank you for my speech, Lord Your Blessings never end Thank You for my mind, Lord Thank You that I can talk Thank You that even though I'm in pain, I can walk Lord, thank You for talent You gave me a precious Gift Let me always use it To encourage and uplift To those who need Your touch I pray an answer, now You're the Lord...who am I Heal them, touch them, somehow Thank You, Lord, I love You This prayer to You I'll end It's in Your Name I pray Thank You, Lord, and AMEN!
