i'm gonna laugh to keep from cryin live to keep from dyin specially when the blue turn to grey when the storms of life blow thru here there can't be no room for fear & i'll laugh to keep from cryin today
i am gonna pray to keep from cussin stop this useless fussin i gotta change my attitude somehow let calm & peace run thru me instead of hate & fury let me be a nicer person right now
i am gonna be nice to my brothers my sisters & all others to all of the people sharin my space i can't afford to be mean can't let hatred come between 'cause we're all members of the human race
i am gonna vow to keep on writin pray for the end of fightin maybe together, we'll have an impact God, i certainly hope so let these words grow & grow let's do our part to change the way we act
i am gonna laugh to keep from cryin laugh to keep from dyin that is what i want you to do today when the storms of life blow thru here learn to overcome the fear remember blue skies always follow grey
