a fibromyalgia influenced write.

such a beautiful dance
is a dance with pain

he takes my hands in his
                                    and whirls me away
                                    captured by the music
                                    the room dips and sways

                                    i feel the rhythm pulse
                                    through my feet and head
                                    it's a constant presence
                                    it feels like it's inbred

the colored disco lights
play across my eyes
i'm getting dizzy now
how long 'til i die

i close my eyes in fear
he won't let me go
for in this macabre dance
he leads, i follow

                                    such a beautiful dance
                                    is a dance with pain

Beautifully sad write....it's wonderful that you are able to portray the pain in such a beautiful way....I have chronic fatigue syndrome and I am very hard pressed to find any inspiration or beauty in it!!
Well done

Ah, Mz Karla, even a dance in pain is better than no dance at all...my three herniated discs, while giving me alot less pain than you would have, seem to feel better after dancing, for some reason...Good to see you all, thought I would never be back...Peace thru the Write, Ed & rufuz
