winter spring summer
fall
we loved each other
dearly
when one was out of sight
for long
the other was a
lifeless sea
the months passed
then a year
then there was no
we
still love it is
brings happiness
akin to victory
No one commented on this. I am surprised. Glad I pulled it up. It means a lot to me. The seasons have passed and come again, but my true love Tom will only be here in spirit. You are such a profound romantic write, your poems show your love for people and things. We shall never forget our past loves and our loved one either. You said a lot in this small piece, just wish more would comment on it too. LOL Lois Christensen
