Sow the Spring
In the shadows, there lies a heart
Weeping silently in the night
It cries out, unwilling to part
With the love, that has left the light.
Ran off at the first sign of plight,
It did, and left this very empty shell.
This dead heart tries with all its might
Even through the ashen death smell.
Lift up towards the light, this soul
Become playful once more, right now
Dance around like a newborn foal.
Like a wolf, rise up, cry thy howl.
Bring thy seeds, bring thy scythe, thy plow
And churn up a new Spring garden
Full of love, leave behind thy scowl.
Please, just give love a fair pardon.
