Frenzied pace rapidly disintegrates into
A darkness that is inescapable. Eyes
Glaze into windowless orbs that seemingly
Float freely within a terrifying void.
… they won’t shut up! Make them stop!
Screams internal echo around nothingness
While the heart begins that tumultuous beat
As panic sets in. Teeth chatter in chaotic
Whims as the mind sets for the actions that
Will soon be regretted.
… gimme the f***ing razor! NOW!
Frantic, lost and alone in this spinning out
Of control world leaves a soul walking that
Tight wire above it all. One must keep balance
Here, otherwise spill over and into the gaping
Chasm that dwells below.
