For my Granny, Nanny & Pop Pop ... I miss my grandparents oh so much!!!! It's been three years since the loss of Granny & Pop Pop and Two since Nanny. I still mourn their passing, but each day is a bit easier. For my guardian angels have their wings. I cannot forget my Aunt Polly, who passed earlier in the year. Nor my cousin Carolyn whom we just buried two weeks ago. May her spirit now walk the woods of our home and lounge by the river without pain now. But most of all, may her lesson be to all on dialysis ... DO NOT MISS ANY TREATMENTS!!!!!
There comes a time, for everything
when the light inside must cease
to shine. Tis the way of things, the
cycle of life this is.
Yet, death, I find, is not the final end.
Death, to me, is the end of one existence,
the beginning of another ... as the cycle
starts over. We are like the seasons that
change. As the Earth cycles into winter,
so does life as death sweeps in after the
harvest of our soul until the time comes
again for the Spring to birth us once more.
Then, as the buds of roses rise again, so
do our souls as life is renewed once more.
Tears fall as rain to replenish what has been
lost as the winds breathe back into us the
life we need to travel onward.
Listen now to the winds that blow outside,
step out into them and let their invisible
fingers caress thy face. Those are the
souls out there, of loved ones thought
lost to time ... they are non corporeal
my dearest, hear their song! For they
whisper now to all who care, who dare,
listen to their wisdom.
Let me wipe away those tears that fall,
for I feel this pain that now wells up
within. It soon shall subside in time,
for the memories will always reside
there within thy heart.

I wish I could have read this at the service for my aunt. I find here many of my own thoughts on death mirrored.

The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
