Walking In Reflective Light


 


Years tripped and tumbled


The numbers far too few


Walking in reflective light


With memories of you


 


My past is now just an abyss


With no fortune told, no future


And every night darkness wins


But now I know the cure


 


I may curse, I may pray


But life is just a milieu


Walking in reflective light


With memories of you


 


With no candle to light the way


And my own spark growing dim


Gray mists swathe my soul


As angels hum their hymn


 


Count my days of elusive glory


Know I must pursue


Walking in reflective light


With memories of you

Memories stay with you as long as you want them too. Walking in shadows only hurts if you let it. Keep the memories safely tucked away and begin to build new ones filled with happiness and joy, nicely written....
