Oh the fickle flame of life,
'tis only a thread we stand upon.
Sway this way or that way,
where ever the wind may blow.
We build shelter avoiding the rain.
Put up walls to lessen the sway.
Slowly our wick grows smaller.
Always waiting for that burn.
Closer we creep twards smoke.
