We.....

Poem Artwork

walk together 'neath shining stars,
A constellation that seems so far.
Is it really so far that we cannot see,
Exactly where and who we are?
I hope not my dear, for you feel so near.
With each passing day I see you so clear.
You are the one that holds me together,
Hopes of things to be.
Miles and lattitudes keep you from me, For now.
A nudge here, a nudge there.
To show how much I care.
One day our lives will intertwine,
And on that day I will be your's and you will be mine.
When that day comes to pass, you and I together at last.
A lifetime of waiting for the one who's right.
Will not be sullied by anyone's past.
Two likend spirits,
Together at last.

Walt, I love the vision that burns as bright as the Olympian torch in honour of the Quest Of The One. This is the race in life that carries with it the most gruelling tests of endurance and perseverance, often causing our fragile hearts to yield to the temptation of settling for less, even before we get to second best! :)) Not surprising, I think, since it seems to be a common occurrance that we are only just beginning to find out and be content with who we REALLY are as we approach our fifties - not exactly compatible with the old body clocks in terms of making "fruitful" our deepest love relationship... Why am I warbling?? Not sure, but somehow this poem creates in me the desire to never give up on the knowledge of a true soulmate and the intimacy and life-giving release that such a shared mutual experience might bring... however long it takes. Some hungers just can't be tamed - ones of the soul especially. May your flame continue to burn brightly, leading you in the right direction! Great work and melting picture. Bless you, Kate xx

Mimicking a walk in the past with todays one that are leaving the tomorrow tracks in the wet sand.
Walk, with the heart, letting the feet to choose any direction as long as the walk goes on together.
Great poem.

The desire to find and have someone to love is as real a part of life as eating and those who ignore or deny that feeling are not smart enough to tie their own shoelaces. Exellant poem that shares real emotions and real feelings.

The SPIRIT OF LOVE has touched your soul... and allowed you to pen this beautiful poem filled with so much hope and aspiration!!

DOn't let anything holds you back to love again....THE SPIRIT OF LOVE is keeping a safe place for you to wander in beauty!!

I have to give myself a nudge...I do not see two loving SWANS walking on that beach....but an ANGEL send from AFAR!!!!

Enjoyed this journey of Love. I see David continues to be negative. It must be an awful burden to carry such hatred against love. Love is many things, but it is not always logical. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.

And I am hopeful that this comes to pass...

I still hold dear to the hope myself, or a renunion one day, from a love taken so cruelly away at such an early age.
I'm reviewing you first off LOL, so if you are hit on again, from a certain roving flamer...haha, you've have my vote first :)
Grace and Peace to you
