No Measure

I spent a night or two on a monitor,
In the local Veteran’s hospital.
After many EKG’s and blood tests,
T’was not heart attack, so I was blessed,

I asked of them, “Then why this pain?
Because this misery I do not feign”.
They said they had a test for me,
Climb on this treadmill, and then we’ll see.

But Doc I do my own stress test each day,
When on my bicycle I do not play.
I ride hard and ignore the pain,
They looked at me without disdain.

I knew no treadmill would ever show,
The cause that I already know.
One day a jury will end this mess,
There's no way to measure this level of stress.

Walt, You keep riding that bike, try to have some "other" physical activity, that keeps the heart muscle happy and pumping. The warmth of anothers heart and body keeps us stress free no matter what is happening in our lives. If you want to live, let go of the stress.
Much peace, love, and angel healing light to you,
Amber "V"

Walt, I sure know what you are talking about! Stress can cause everything about the body to ache...you must keep this in mind but it is hard...isn't it? I enjoyed this a lot!

Walt,

Take care of yourself ... I worry about you. You are in my prayers. Could it be the pain is from a broken heart?

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :(

Glad to hear it wasn't a heart attack, my friend;
and I truly hope that in 2009, your stress will end.
