The end of another day, Gods own sunset. I stand back and wonder, How long now Lord? Our greatest disaster upon us, Plague never imagined. Very life's blood, Killing the Gulf. I feel isolated in the mountains, But not that far. (c)2010 Walt Hardester

I Know this is REALLY SAD! To see, know and feel! It's completely senseless!!!:(
That picture is Stunning and right for this poem!

Walt, we cannot travel far enough on our tiny planet to completely escape the effects of such tragedies -- we must pray that the Gulf is capable of recovering quickly --- may peace and love be always with you my friend -- Jon Michael

Gorgeous picture and your words are perfectly suited to the image...I feel the same pain you describe here, and I'm thousands of miles away from the Gulf! This is a horrible tragedy...senseless....

The very sad part of this oil spill is it could and should have been avoided. Sloven decisions made to not do cautious repairs before the disaster! Strong feelings in your poem, Walt...that I share.
