This so teaches us never to give up - either on hope or on love for even if we have had a rough or raw time of it so far, the potential for change exists even in the next moment... just as soon as our Angel On Earth shows up - and we all gotta have one, right?! The choice of picture is priceless, Walt; the facial expression says it all and if the subject of this poem feels as "born again" as this young chap, then what a long life of carefree joy and new-found innnocence lies ahead.
