In Flight

I used to go, crashing through doors

Then I gave you the

Power

That I never should of

I became a whimper of myself

Today, I breathe deeper and when I exhale

I am carried by the currents to where the air is clear

To rise from the ashes

To look around anew

A world of mystery, awaiting

To see it all below

The hills and valleys, all  in the distance, now

Letting the currents carry me

Where ever that may be

And to think that only yesterday

I could see it only from below

To be alive again

It is right

That I know
