Autumn Requiem

The silence of the
leaves in
earthbound, Glory
wafer sprinkle of communion hosts
gliding on a gentle breeze
drifting
heaven sent

A hush,  a pause
stepping
into this quiet, refuge sanctuary
this requiem of season
golden shadows falling
on broken spaces
time drifting…….ever so
slowly…………..away

a peaceful stream of fractured
light, bending through  branches
In silent awe I  stand
hearing  a whispered chorus
chanting……………..
Hallelujah


these maples ,elms, and tall hickories
shedding free
 of  past
 burdens held and steadfast carried
now relieved, upright,  free
to face the coming winter’s wrath  and
fury of icy winds …….again

WOW! This tells what Autumn is like before WINTER Coldness! In Nature and Seasonal Glory! In AWE of it myself, can't wait... Again, we are Blessed!
This Poem "Autumn Requiem" is truly Excellent Stan!

You sit and capture this sadness that it impossible not to see. This season is simply everywhere. Lovely, soothing quiet but also death and sadness.
