Three Boys, and a Man, and On Christmas Eve

Away from family
Friends and loved ones
Together this group formed a new
bond
On this night of spectacular
Displays
On this eve of the birth of the Savior
Divine
each of us misfits
in our own ,special
way
castoff’s forgotten
empty and shamed
Aimlessly wondering, through
this forest of pain
three boys and a
man
not seeking a story
running from time
and window reflections
every place closed
nothing left open
trying again, to stave off the
sorrow
watching the world
shine in it’s magical glory
On this starlit night, so
cold crisp and wondrous
The smell of baby breath
and fresh silky hair
peace .love and harmony
did really exist
in this little group of
three men and a
boy and one tiny
new born
baby,infant
