His checklist

She needs beauty beyond compare
So all his friends will envy him.
She must be young, athletic and willowy.
She must love sex immensely.
However, she must still be a virgin.
She must provide him with sex on the first date.
Who has time to wait and wonder? Not him.
She must live with him for 3-5 years as a test.
He would prefer it to be in her apartment.
That way if it does not work out,
He can pack and go, not worrying about a lease.
In addition, he remains free to shop around.
She must be earning 23,000. + per year.
She must cook, clean, and do laundry.
She must wait on him hand and foot.
She must spoil him like his mom used to do.
No outside friends allowed for her.
It is best if her Mother is dead.
If he doesn't find anyone he likes better,
He might reward her with marriage in 3 years.
If it does not work out, then he'll buy a divorce ...

Her checklist

He must be heart thumping handsome.
This includes being athletic, and strong.
He must want to cuddle and pet a lot
He must say sweet things to her all the time.
He must never notice other women.
Nor look at adult magazines.
He must not curse, smoke, drink or scratch.
He must be arrogant but quick to give in.
He must be educated, earning 35,000 + per year.
He must cook, clean, do laundry and windows.
He must live to wait on her and her family.
Yes, he should slave for her if called upon to.
No outside friends allowed for him.
Living together is acceptable, as they jointly work,
To save thousands of dollars for a white wedding.
Once wed he must sit at her feet showing affection.
He should always be considerate of her moods.
After all he is so lucky that she married him.
She will kick him to the curb if it does not work out..
Afterall there are other fish in the sea,
And she has always enjoyed fishing..

Unfortunately these stipulations are not easily met.
Therefore people wind up settling for less.
Little wonder we have such a high divorce rate in the USA.
There should be more negotiations in the beginning.
Expectations could be too high.
If one feels like they settled for less
How can they be satisfied with their mate?
I would sure hate to be second choice for anyone.
So for happier endings, look for alternatives,
Make sure you know what the other person expects.
