Perplexed!
Don’t you know?
It’s quite clear
I see it written here
I say, read more often dear
I read the book, and I was told
That thousands in his fold
Would tell that story bold
Join and fit the mould
The man in Rome
Got it from the catacomb
Goes through it with a fine tooth comb
Every day in Latin tone
Infallibility he claims
To keep his flock in chains
Not sinister his aims
Save them from Hindus or the Jains
And those in temples not of his
Not shy that book to kiss
But his omnipresence miss
Up the wrong tree piss
So much bitterness and hurt
Fighting words and slinging dirt
With disaster they do flirt
The wisdom of the Lord to court
Not bereft of where to find
For you the wisdom if they’re kind
To find their own, be in a bind
Tell them all kiss my behind!
