If the capacity is there to tell the truth without hurting someones feelings, then if we're equiped with such facility, should preferably use it, but not at the expense of truth!
I think something I said was not to appealing
For in the truth I was dealing
I pinched someone’s feeling
From pain they are reeling
But not tell my truth
Sometimes raw and uncouth
Not as gentile and as smooth
The essence I’d loose
A disclaimer will note
Such pain to forebode
To share of your load
You ugly old toad
And just in case
This got in your face
My truth can erase
Mine, with yours can replace!
