Stone faces are weeping!

Folks rise up and try their tears, before their faces are disfigured!

Stone faces are weeping!

This man for the sky has reached

To garner laurels not his own

Democratic laws has breached

While senators just sit and frown

Should he be impeached?

Has closed himself in garment spun

That speaks of pride and throne

Be better fitted to the Hun

Or charlatan would own

Stitching all with lies were done

The laurel leafs that in his crown

Where plugged from lies and fear

Not crowned by others but his own

His knights but near his rear

On shining armour frown

Their rightly smitten entourage

Much curtsy did and fawns

Whished them all a bon voyage

Into the new and glorious dawn

With guns and trumpets employ age

The little folks, they stood on walls

Hail Caesar our future king
From steeples tall, and Gods church halls
Their songs of praise did sing
Like once the Romans and the Gauls

His armoured wagon and his dross

Employed in foreign lands

Bared weapons of the cross

Got stuck in desert sands

While moms and children wept their loss

His nemesis on foreign soil

Not a foreign king

But foraging with greed for oil

On manufactured lies and whim

While slaves at home did toil

Dismayed the burghers of the land

His castle stormed laid siege

Pained and angry took a stand

Destroyed the ramparts and the liege

Left and right a mighty band

In the land of the brave and free

In land you don’t belong

But not for long, a king thou be

 Where laws and constitution strong

And blessed by liberty!

And wars were fought over salt and other spices, cotton and gold, diamonds and gems and so the world turns ever changing, yet remaining the same.....

Ah, isn't it always the same? over and over? and over again.

when people are alert and fight for their own rights...then we have the weapon to defy the potentates and dictators and their ilk...yet history keeps repeating itself...

You've hit the nail on the head, Jasmin. But I think the 9/11 King is Giuliani!
