Take a long walk amoung the trees an see !

Opening up the structure!

Went for a walk in the Wald today

A Wald is like a gestalt

It is solid, but spacious enough

To let me and you in

And those that would love nature

A Wald is an endearment of the name forest

You heard of the black forest of course

I always wondered why people heard of the black forest

No, no smoke and fire

Just trees and those that live among them

And the people close to nature

Some of the first environmentalist

Barn attached to the house to keep both critter, and critter warm

Practical applications to natures needs which included them

Interdependent, symbiotic so to speak

In Freiburg right near the Swiss border

Frei meaning free, and Burg meaning a defensive structure

Against all those that wanted to be slaves

To who else but the king and

His enslavers

My roots go very deep, on being free

Maybe that is why I feed the birds

I enjoy their freedom

And all the other wild little critters

That lives without a Caesar

I pay homage to them, to honour them

And their courage’s way of staying so

I do however pay them homage with food

To keep up their spirit, not that they need it

They are fully themselves, and perfectly able to do so

It is a great exchange, they give more then they receive

In witnessing the joy of their being, happy, despite cold and hungry

They are being themselves, as beautiful as they are

In their freedom of being, and the beauty of it

Not that I would want to deceive them, or that I could

They are true and honest under Gods great sky

They live and fly across the heavens in their great beauty

They even land on your hand

And they will shake it, saying how do you do

You like me, they’ll say!

You are a true naturalist, and I so agree with you about birds. I've always had them visit me on my porch, they eat off the wooden railing
and they come just for a visit to talk with me, they are best friends.
Some will sit on my hand,I love them all! Thanks for sharing Jas!

Love,
Eileen
