And I thought snowhite was a fairytale

No end in sight!

Things are spinning out of control here

I mean how much more can it go

I am going to drown I fear

The snow blow made several turns so far

My back and shovel is bend

Two feet in places covers the tar

White clouds of gusts are twirling all about

None stop come from a weeping sky

Neighbours behind their windows pout

Expanses of white rolling hills

Accumulate along deeply shovelled path

Where children get their thrills

Muttered curses under lip

Those darn ploughs again are you kitting

Another foot like a wave aside a ship

And the world keeps on spinning

Around in white spirals

You’d think by now it is thinning

 Boots up to me knees

Tucked into them deep

So my toes wouldn’t freeze

Then there is the ass

This slides across the snow

No other choice it has

With an inseam of twenty five

Through tunnels I weave

Lucky to be alive

Exhausted I just came home

Covered in white disaster

Looked like a snowman or gnome

One good shot of some heat

Back out to shovel

The ploughman to beat

No this not some little white lie

It’s wearing me down

I think maybe, down south I should fly!

Ah, I have been where you are and yes, headed south to get away from it all. You have painted a picture that I can certainly visualize very clearly....

Be safe,
Karen

Better not curse the snow; it will help with the water tables come summertime! :) Send some of that our way, please?? We Texas folk don't get much snow; I miss it!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

Great write! Just be careful shoveling all that snow; take frequent breaks and watch your health!
