Christmas all year!

Caring every day!

My heart breaks in two, as I read this letter

It came today

It sure didn’t help to make me feel any better

It begs please help, burdens to defray

So many, so many, so much need

My heart it had just healed

So much suffering there is indeed

Send all the money I could weald

It’s not enough, there are so many

That needs help now, before too late

What else can I do, send every penny

Some suffering to abate

It never stops, you have to wonder

Is it a trend, or was it always

Brutality their hearts do blunder

And Christmas is away just days

So many critters out in the cold

Bred for money, or just no reason

Throw them out, could not be sold

For lack of words, this would be treason

Some on chains like slaves they were

In heat or freezing cold

Don’t give a dam's their hide is bare

Their owners in the red neck fold

Others scrounge from street to street

To find a spot, or food

But their breeders breed and eat

Just looking for the loot

Heartless gangsters have more heart

Than to toss a puppy to the street

Anyone in this takes part

A little child would beat

For these God forsaken brutes

I pay with heart and mind

And money I should spend on winter boots

Because they’re so dam’s unkind

This bothers me all year and specially on Christmas Eve

My soul it does not rest

My pain and anguish does not leave

Until they’d all be blessed

I write this just my pain to ease

To friends I know do care

Not anyone to please

But in my love would share

If all a penny give a day

And with their prose find more

Much misery would defray

And that I would adore

Please for the love of Jesus

With our prose find ways

Do that we know him pleases

Especially on Christmas days!
