Another friend up there, just got the news, I wrote this to help in their grief, I hope it helps.
To Joe! Another Angel flew to heaven! Another angel flew to heaven Still warm the body left behind For his friends to mind And his loved ones kind Oh weep ye not my angel friends My travels lead to paradise Hold not me, now with thine eyes But in your thoughts so wise I�ll be with you, there is no end always I shall keep in touch with you I promise this is true When I to heaven flew Just deeply listen with your soul You�ll hear me in your thoughts so deep You�ll see me in the mountains steep No need, for me to weep My aching body set me free I�ve reached a golden universe Therein I now traverse Just my body in a hearse And to my friends and loves alike You�ll always know I always loved you so Or my name not Joe See you soon in that blue yonder Send tickets and passport when it�s time When eternal rhythms rhyme For you are always mine! "when you reach those streets paved of gold Jim take a claim out for me".. words from a song called "Jim today I wore a tie for you" by the Highway men. a song that helped me when my Dad Jim died, it is Beautiful as is your tribute.
