The destroyers of planets!

All together in a cage,

Could be fun you say,

But forget the mental rage,

 Too long in there you stay,

 Is this what happened to our species,

Where we stranded from afar,

From others, hide our faeces,

Came from a distant star?

Aloof of all there is around,

Sour faces paint,

From sacred dirty ground,

Superiority we faint,

Now stranded here, among the apes,

It came as no surprise,

Close we stuck to our mates,

While close, on them, we kept our eyes,

And soon we learned to ape their ways,

As if we’re next of kin,

Fought skirmishes and frays,

New boundaries to win,

Beat out chests to their chagrin,

To ape their beating drum,

And showed that silly grin,

To scare away the Hun,

Great apes became on walking sticks,

And soon we learned to run,

With spears and cannons in the mix,

And then repeating gun,

Proud of our killing skills,

We honed our efforts fast,

Chased all that be, into the hills,

Our aping friends aghast,

With brains and brawn found new acclaim,

All in that wire cage we own,

Few now left, to tell our shame,

The horror we have sown,

Witnesses from small to large,

Including all the trees,

Hiding out in Noah’s barge,

Hoping for release,

No room though now left, in this there cage,

No room left in the inn,

Just humans all in rage,

 There’s no more space to win,

A rainbow in a distant sky,

A far off distant star,

 In rockets now, we learned to fly,

Seek refuge from afar,

But wisdom in that skull so bright,

Our species has not changed,

Another planet bring our plight,

Smart beings so deranged,
