God!

My prayer to you every day,

If I may,

Change,

The world,

Where there is,

Neither victim nor prey,

I say,

Humbly,

Without delay

God!

This is not my conscience to appease,

But please,

Change,

That, which is,

War, killing, never peace,

I ask,

Humbly,

Would you please?

God!

You have made this world, you have the keys,

Would you please?

Change,

That we have to kill to eat,

Either plant or meat,

Give our lives a different lease,

I beg,

Humbly,

Grant release?

God!

You’ve made us slaves to fill the gut,

To what end, for what?

Change,

It causes great affliction,

Among your creation,

Among us all, the lot,

I plead,

Humbly,

On the spot,

God!

Such cruelty to what end,

If, I would amend,

Change,

What would you say?

All that without delay,

Make foe into love, and friend,

I pray,

Humbly,

Make it end!
