Just a word or two!

Divine interdiction on my diction, even tough it's fiction!

Just a word or two!

Struck by lightening, on a cold winters day,

As on my keyboard, I slave away,

Someone didn’t like, what I had to say,

Me thinks,

Being of a democratic mind, and free,

I thought this was the way to be,

Someone else did not agree,

To bad,

It’s a sad and doggone crime,

To just, make a few words rhyme,

And write, to God a line,

Dear me,

But don’t worry, my dear friends,

I will pray, and make amends,

All of it, in wisdom ends,

I think,

Somehow knew, that this would happen,

Get from God a slappin,

No meanness he was lacking,

Ouch!

Though I was severely pounded,

Worse, it could have been, but I was grounded,

Much worse, than as it sounded,

What!

In the end, it was time well spend,

I’ll say it as it is, without a bend,

To anyone an ear will lend,

Will too!

Life needs to have around a couple of destructive jerks, so when in the future we think we are seeing one...we know they are because we had seen them before.
And, comparing, we will know who are the good critics of our work.
Me too like your response.
