A Valentine to my little Jasmin!

My little sweetheart has four paws,

A button nose and eyes,

To me she’s always true ,

Never tells me any lies,

Doesn’t drink or smoke,

Not religious in the least,

Though saintly in her love,

Her beauty is for eyes a feast,

Loves licks and kisses all around,

Just for a little treat,

And the waggle of her tail,

She is so very sweet,

Snuggles right in to my lap,

Pink tummy in the air,

Faith and trust her only vice,

She snores without a care,

No matter what would threaten me,

A giant would not dare,

Defend me with her life she would,

No matter how the fight unfair,

For love, here fears, would overcome,

Truth, and loyalty, in most so rare,

Though her fears were strong,

Her courage could not scare,

She gave me all she had,

True and loyal to the end,

That‘s how her love to be,

My lover and best friend!
