You've been in paradise.......

While you've been praying for paradise,
you've missed it...

You’ve been in paradise and blinked!

This not a fairy tale,

Far from it,

No Hollywood ending,

Pot of gold,

End of Rainbow sale,

Not a feel good story,

Far from it,

No night in shining armour,

Rescued princess,

Love forever glory,

Not a philosophical treatise,

Far from it,

No logical conclusions,

Poison pill,

Or do as you please,

Not a religious doctrine,

Far from it,

No paradise hereafter,

Not here,

Not therein,

To late for all these folksy things

Whitewash or superstitions,

Reality will win,

You come to know it soon,

Your destruction brings,

You thought, go as you are,

Things will settle down,

Will turn around,

Go back to normal,

But no, we have gone too far,

That dirty water in the sink,

Conveniently flush down the drain,

And that porcelain pot,

Left your last little lot,

Might well be, your last drink,

You used it all up, and all that lived in it,

And all that lived on it,

Death and destruction,

You flushed,

Ask your lake and river,

Ask all those that died of cancers ill,

Of decease,

You came full cycle,

You reaped what you’ve sown,

All of your own free will,

Not a bird, not a tree,

Just desert sands blowing,

No water, no air,

But heat, and the stench of death,

Hell, just could not better be,

You reaped what you sowed,

For you knew better than God,

Since the beginning,

Your ego, and arrogance,

Your seedlings hoed,

You’ve killed all living things,

In life with you enjoined,

Yet you can not make a seed,

Not a tree, not a mouse,

Not a bird that sings,

The machines you made,

They all will live,

As long its juice will last,

Cannot help you in the end,

For you, it will be too late!

All I can say, if you planned for hell,

For misery and destruction,

For foment and torment,

For all lives end,

That part, you did most well!

You penned this impending devastation with the eyes and heart of one who has seen many changes over the years, and who knows that it is 'we' who will have done this ... killed paradise.

God bless you. Kathy

Think you have said it all and sadly this seems to be the path mankind wishes to follow lately and I find it so very disheartening. I was always taught to believe that good triumphs over evil, but I am not so sure anymore....

Be always safe,
Karen

You reaped what you’ve sown,
All of your own free will

That to me, is truly the saddest part. We have willingly made Hell out of Paradise, and that doesn't say much for the so called most intelligent beings on this planet.

And the dream of a "continuos mobile" a machine that will be alive forever without the need for any juice or friction waste, will the obsession go to the end...a machin with eternal life roaming on a world deserted of life itself.
Our legacy?

Georg

Thought provoking, Jasmin, and very well penned - excellent reminder that what we do affects all.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
