A total Sinner!

Ok, I admitt it, eat your hearts out! ha, I reached in deeper and that's what I found also! A dare by my friend Georg ha!

Oh of sins I hold no fear,
I hold them near and dear,
For without them be a saint,
Now wouldn’t that be quaint,

A halo has to wear day and night,
And have to wear it out of sight,
A monk, a saintly sight,
My friends no end delight,

Just haven’t got the gall,
Sinned and sinned, just that to stall,
To wear such heavy weight I’m far too small,
Not even loved ones to enthral,

I practised sinning, when just a child,
When little vixens I beguiled,
When alone there in the wild,
And practised harder, when they smiled,

Of later on in taverns far,
Older vixen’s bottoms tar,
Or with other brothers spar,
Nothing could my sinning scar,

I have certain tastes in sin,
Sometimes lie or cheat to win,
Especially with the next of kin,
But never on a whim,

Yet others think I’m black as ink,
Compared to them they think,
Can’t really say, how they forged that link,
Some say it with a wink,

Still yet have to practise more,
Not yet robbed a bank or store,
This to me holds still much lore,
Ran out of sins, now that’s a bore,

Anyone some ideas would share,
My cupboard now so bare,
Some sort reward declare,
Before a sinless life I stare,

I prayed, but God said that is the devils work,
Gave me a strong lecture in his retort,
Should not of sin make sport?
To pray for forgiveness me extort,

But now at eighty eight,
Find it far too late,
To clear that sinful slate,
I will accept my fate,

Besides my roving eye,
Some young lady then would spy,
Would to my maker have to lie?
That, I wouldn’t even try,

Some sins I gladly will omit,
Not become some righteous twit,
I love my sins, I do not kid,
I’ve practised cheating, easy, into heaven fit!

Hey Jasmin, as you know, I make few comments. Only Karla has me pulled in. But I thought I would give you a look. Large letters--this must be close to home. :)

Sins or momentary lapses. Fortunately, for all of us - God is merciful and loving ... else, the alternative - not so good. I trust you had as much fun writing this as I did reading it.

God bless you. Kathy

Ah, but making bare our sins to Him, and asking His forgiveness is the first step to Heaven. This I believe for all peoples. Anyway, some halos get "tipped" a little :o)

Ah, but without a little sin here and there, one could not have any fun, interesting.....

Be always safe,

Nothing about paying the price for 'em though - and it's no wonder that God is mute when the suffering inevitably comes (show me a man who loves that! - and I'll show you one who's sufferings are minor in comparison) Still a much needed voice of verse -
keep on! michael

The first step into realizing we are sinners is admitting it; the second is repenting; forgiveness follows. :) Well done, Jasmin!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

With that Vixen's tar you will need a lot of feathers, but anyway, it will be difficult for you to hide that shinning halo of yours.
And God loves to have around someone that can give Him a laugh!

Alas, we are all sinners, but far too many won't dare admit it to others, or even to themselves. Blessed is the man who acknowledges his wrongs, and at least attempts to do right.
