Hurry it's flowing away!

Time flows like a river of sand,
It kisses every grain,
From up high it tumbles,
Over the narrows bend,
And stops,
Until it’s turned again.

Never thought that it could rain time, but what I know about metaphisical mysteries and out of this world happenings? I am just an old man that refuses to believe in gravity even when a stone falls on my head.
What is it? are you talking to me? are YOUUU talking to MEEEEEEE?
De Niro did that better.
