She is my love, my wisdom, and inspiration, in all that you read!

My Angel Jasmin!

Of sisal rope and hemp,

Twisting in the storm,

In the pits of hell it end,

Hanging there forlorn,

A little angel though, much hyper,

Gave it a tuck from heaven gate,

Upwards pulled the burning fibre,

Before it was too late,

Storms and tears put out the fire,

Love has tears you know,

With her wings, she pulled me higher,

Having me in tow,

The devil never knew me gone,

Had inhaled some of that dope,

None of this on him would dawn,

That’s what you get from smoking rope,

Still climbing higher day by day,

To escape that burning pit,

To heaven make my way,

Every day, just a little bit,

She watches every step I take,

She guides me with her love,

Without her not a step I make,

Until we’re up above

I get what the others got, Jasmin, but I did get a little tickled at that punch line, that's what you get from smoking rope. Old Lucifer has had plenty of rope to smoke over the eons. The poem leaves me with a feeling of concern too. I hope you are doing well.....Jerry

Awww how blessed you must feel to have such an angel to share your life with and all the uncoditional love shared....

Be always safe,

What blessings we get from our Little Angels. You have a special one in Jasmin who loyally and lovingly brings you up from the depths, J-H.
Gracious realizations in this poem...

Still climbing higher day by day,
To escape that burning pit,
To heaven make my way,
Every day, just a little bit

And she guides you so very lovingly, every step of the way.

If all of us were so lucky, to have an angel 24/7 on our shoulder whispering to fly higher, to be "there"...

It seems that this Author has his poetic dynamo ignited to energize the creative tools.

I have enjoyed the reading of "My Angel Jasmin".
