Shutting down to rest!

Wrestling with the devil wore me down, so for a short while, I lay back, put up my feet,

Shutting down to rest!

Come to think, better not,
Thinking always gets me into trouble,
I have a quirky attitude toward life and love,
A tendency, to put myself, and others on the spot,
All wrapped tightly in a bubble,
Constantly play chess, with the one above,
He sure knows how to play,
But it’s a challenge, maybe some day I’ll win,
Check every angle, every chance,
I’m kidding, that’ll be the day,
Instead of check, ha, say gin
Unorthodox my nature, I love this dance,
The ordinary, not catch my whim,
I find it boring and dull,
So thinking up trouble comes easy,
Reach way out on a limb,
Some day I’ll break my skull,
Yet, it brings me pleasure feeling queasy,
This daring do, myself and others,
Wrings me out complete,
Rest I need, my batteries worn,
It’s thinking that me bothers,
I’ll lay back, put up my feet
The thinking, leaves to you, and others.

Jasmin, you are the energizer bunny incarnate. I look for you to come out with a roar when you're recharged. I'm trying to complete book three, and just listening to you makes me wish I shared your energy.....Jerry, your fellow restless spirit.

Wrestling with that old devil will wear anyone out, especially these days. Take a nice long rest, put those feet up, and enjoy.

I don't play chess with Him anymore...He cheats, now you see the bishop...now you don't, and then...chess mate?
Oh brother!

From the sound of this you are going to take a rest. Why leave the thinking up to us, can't you join us with your trust. We like your writes and you are needed on the den with your writes too. Either way, do as you wish and we will wait for your rest times to end and again see you on the den.
