It's not just an American thing or a Chinese thing. There were no noble savages--only those with lesser tools to take advantage. We have very sadly become a most naive nation, and a most naive planet, I'm afraid. So many people around the globe are suffering today, and our so called 'leaders' now bait them with promises of 'cheaper fuel,' (Offshore Drilling Is The Answer!)'cheaper food,' (We'll level the forests and the mountains to get more agricultural space!) just trust us, 'better days are ahead!' if we all just allow them to continue to rape our planet - but one day, not that far off, there will be nothing left on Earth to rape and pillage, and that is truly when World Chaos will begin in earnest. God Help Us All.

The sad part, J-H, is that the spoiled children are being fool-guided by obtuse, greedy "leaders(?)"!!
AND...we've not got much choice in our future leaders....blahhhhh!
