Unforgiving cold steel, glistens in the morning mist,
Droplets of rainbows, in suns rays,
An eerie quiet, a dragonfly dancing in the air,
All under a blanket of early morning dew,
Here and there a small chirp or beep,
Will he wake up, the bundle torn?
Will he wake up, looks- so forlorn,
Miles alone along the track,
In to the distance stretch,
Miles his soul has travelled now,
Severed from his ragged body,
Sadness reaches into the distance,
Pain unheard, sorrow and cold steel,
All intertwined into distant ends,
All dead ends for him,
A note for the caboose,
I had nothing to loose.
A stark image, my friend, which conjures up many dark thoughts.
