My eldest daughter just took home two dogies from the shelter, frightened out of their mind, they had been lefit exposed along the side of a highway, until someone finally phoned. This is for my friend Ed, who is one of those Angels I mentioned and his brother St. Francis

Abandoned.

Tied to a tree alongside a roadway,
Along with some others,
And there they would stay,
For seven days, and no one bothers,
No water or food,
And no place to poop,
God, what miserable soul from hell,
Would bring this about,
No one knows it’s hard to tell,
They didn’t stay for crying out laud,
So almost starved and very sick,
Some kind person noticed their blight,
A cell phone did the trick,
Called the humane to take them inside,
Some died of exposure and fright,
Oh God forgive, but show them your light,
Guide others to be kind,
Toward your creatures innocent they are,
Guide them to care and to mind,
There are too few by far,
I pray, bless them, I know a few,
They are your angels,
Your work here they do.

Gimme the name of that bastard and I will tie him to a tree in the nearest jungle where he can cry and call for help and see how it felt.

It is so hard to understand the mind of those who can do such things. Why not bring them to the animal shelters. I get so
upset with such ignorant fools,I don't know what to say!
Bless you for being one of the angels too, Jasmin!

It is so sad the poor little dears are going through their own economy crisis. How anyone could do these cruel things to loving animals is beyond me. Don't they realize that they are probably the only ones in their entire lives that offered them pure unconditional love. Someday they might. Lovely and touching write Jasmin. Love, Bonnie

This is so sad. People are so cruel. They could have taken them to a shelter from the start. Obviously, their owners were down on their luck, but is no excuse for this type of abuse.

I made a vow to myself a long time ago, every time I read a poem or story about abandoned or abused animals I would a donation to the ASPCA. I hope others will follow me.

Thank you,
Sara

at least the ones dumped out on the roadway in front of my pasture are left untied, some do make it to my door and then to the dog yard out by the barn where they have food, friends and life. good work, well said

Far too many of these miserable human souls from hell plague our world today. And far too few angels like your daughter are among us now. Bless her for her compassion, and we truly need many, many more like her today.
