Your soul awakes you, now, today.
On this day, one more time to have a say,
One more time your game to play,
Be thankful, do it, while you may!
A million zillion things to write, can’t think of one,
A pile of firewood to light, but kindling, I have none,
I, well, could think about it, but that would take to long,
First things first, before the kettle I’ll put on,
The fire in the stove, now heats the kettles brew,
It won’t be long thereafter, it’ll heat my insights too,
Thoughts come too, as the heat goes up the flue,
Pretty soon thereafter, I’ll know just what to do,
Its best I find, the night before, to have that kindling split and dry,
It’s best to also say some prayers, and ask for reasons why,
Then all are ready in the morn, without a heavy sigh,
Your wings are pressed, your mind is clear, and you are set to fly,
You see my friend, a new beginning is,
Wake in the morn with life’s blessed kiss,
In return you kiss it back, no happiness you’ll miss,
Continue day to day, until you part, you live from bliss to bliss.
Beautiful poem!Would you like to read one or two of mine?I also appreciate you typing it on a large font.
With Love,

Wake in the morn, with life’s blessed kiss
A marvelous way for anyone to awaken.
Be always safe,
Karen
Absolutely beautiful and upbeat.

Close to Big Sur (CA) is a hard-to-find niche on the map. It is Palo Colorado Canyon, where the elderly Hippys live, the ones who were remaining when the land settled after the Flower Children wrecked our vision with their druggie trips.
We lived what you stress in this poem, and we still live it today, calmly, after all the chaos has passed us by. Life is good.

Buy you make a good point there, keep the good work and maybe the Boss will get you a pair of wings, watch out for fliesswats then...
